Michael Huxford

Michael Huxford is the certified athletic trainer for the Institute for Sports Medicine at Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago. Mike earned a Bachelor's degree in Sport and Exercise Science with a Sports Medicine concentration from Messiah College in Pennsylvania and completed his Master's degree in Educational Leadership with a Physical Educations concentration at DePaul University in Chicago.

Mike has served as the certified athletic trainer for many institutions and organizations; ranging from high schools to college and international traveling teams.

He is currently involved in development and implementation of strategies for injury prevention and outreach to area elementary, middle and high schools.
